I've been trying to write a blog post lately, but the critical, analytic, creative part of my brain that produces coherent writing has been kind of sluggish. Which has been a bit of a downer for me. After Bible study this evening, a few of us students stuck around to shoot the breeze, air our hurts and frustrations, laugh, preach to each other, and just BE with each other. This is a small portion of Christian Wilman's article "God is Not Beyond," which can be found in the 2/24/09 issue of The Christian Centurey. I found it interesting, especially the part that I put in bold type...it's somewhat unnerving how well it describes me. Anyway, it's some food for thought.
