How has the economic climate effected your spiritual journey? Do you see God using this down time as an opportunity to do something new? Or, is it tough to see God in the picture at all?

In all honesty I haven't even seen any effects from this economy downfall. I keep hearing people say its the worst thing since the depression, but then what I see is people still maxing out their credit cards, building their debt, and totally blowing off an opportunity to learn from any of it! It kind of worries me and makes me feel uncertain about the direction America is headed. I mean even though we are in this recession we have all the comforts of everyday life...INDOOR PLUMBING EVEN...(unnecessary things too like toothpicks and rulers and a million different colored post-its because we need variety in life) while other countries have nothing-their normal is so much worse off than our worst! And they are LIVING like that and have been for decades. I don't know, I am horribly sorry for those who have been hurt by this recession, this reply is just my personal account!
